Learn existing internal systems/tools the team owns and help with incremental improvements as ownership transitions. Follow security and privacy expectations in design and implementation, escalating questions early.
Responsibilities
Implement scoped features and bug fixes in services and tools that support SOX control execution and evidence generation. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code leveraging AI and following established engineering best practices. Participate in code reviews, learn from feedback, and contribute to improving code quality and reliability. Contribute to auditing and reporting features that improve transparency and help produce auditor-ready artifacts. Collaborate with peers and partner teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions. Support development lifecycle practices including testing, debugging, and safe deployments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and 1+ years of software development experience (or strong internship experience). Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or React. Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design. Familiarity with cloud services and distributed systems concepts. Experience from projects or internships building services or tooling with a focus on reliability and testing. Exposure to databases or analytics systems such as SQL, Synapse, Azure Data Explorer (ADX), or Cosmos DB. Interest in security, privacy, compliance, auditing, or governance workflows.
