Architect and implement backend services with state-of-the-art frameworks and technologies.
Responsibilities
Optimize existing systems for enhanced performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Design and maintain APIs to enable robust integration with frontend and partner services to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences. Develop tools for monitoring, analytics, and recovery to improve service quality and resiliency. Work collaboratively with product managers, partner engineers, leaders and data scientists to deliver impactful features. Ensure all backend systems comply with security and privacy standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system architecture. Experience working with SQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with high-scale services and RESTful APIs on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related infrastructure. Hands-on experience with debugging customer issues and managing live site mitigations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Passion for innovation and continuous learning. Bonus: Experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and big data analytics. Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience.
