The Firmware Center of Excellence is responsible for Hardware/Firmware for Azure Infrastructure. We are working on the next generation Hardware/Firmware for server, silicon and rack infrastructure with a focus on innovation in firmware technology. We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with a strong background in Firmware Integration and deployments at large scale.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience. Experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++ Firmware Architecture, Integration, validation, debug on server or client platform or any other multi-firmware platform Stakeholder management across teams and organizations to influence, drive and achieve goals together. Building toolchains (automation, debug tools, log analyzers etc) to integrate, debug and interpret large scale firmware data Experience with AI & ML models (e.g., Agentic AI framework, AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, Foundry SDK, Responsible AI, fine-tuning/inferencing, etc.) will be added plus Building information systems such as dashboards (standalone, PowerBI) to drive insights.
