Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with engineers, program managers, designers, and partners to deliver feature sets with optimal design and architecture. Develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services, and design, develop, and maintain APIs for efficient data exchange between client and server applications. Implement and manage cloud-based solutions to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of applications. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment on project goals. Participate in Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) rotations to ensure the engineering team responds promptly to customer-reported incidents and system alerts, mitigating them within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Identify opportunities for optimization and standardization to enhance long-term Quality of Service. Write high quality code to implement the design, leveraging existing platform frameworks and capabilities to build the solution, documenting it in detail for maintainability and presentability. Influence technical direction at an organizational level. Contribute to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive culture. Experience with SQL databases or other relational database systems, including data modeling.
