Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Applied Scientist to build, deploy, and optimize the next generation of AI‑powered capabilities across SharePoint and M365. Build models and featurization pipelines, enable feedback loop. Leverage synthetic and user-generated data to continuously improve prompt, finetune models.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python Experience in building cutting-edge machine learning models, including transformers, generative AI, reinforcement learning, and large language models (LLMs). Proficiency in Python and modern ML stack; strong fundamentals in data structures/algorithms. Prompt engineering. Finetuning and SLM optimization. Evaluation frameworks for LLM quality, utility, latency, and cost. RAG, agentic workflows, and multi-turn dialogue systems. Experience building online ML systems (data pipelines, feature stores, service integration) and running A/B experiments. Proven ability to partner across product/engineering and communicate results clearly.
