Principal Software Engineer

Enable AI agents using MCP. Build for billions of users. Design and implement intelligent features that leverage voice, camera, and screen context to assist users in real time. Build and optimize agentic workflows using MCP to enable autonomous task execution across apps and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Windows, Office, and Azure to deliver seamless, high-performance experiences. Work on cutting-edge features like real-time voice and vision, agentic OS concepts, and Copilot extensibility. Implement intelligent features that leverage voice, camera, and screen context to assist users in real time. Build and optimize agentic workflows using MCP to enable autonomous task execution across apps and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Windows, Office, and Azure to deliver seamless, high-performance experiences. Drive engineering excellence through test automation, robust design, and continuous feedback.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design efficient algorithms and data structures. Ability to independently handle design and implementation of features of moderate to high complexity. Experience with agile development practices and large-scale commercial product cycles. Exposure to multimodal input (voice, vision) or AI-powered UX is a plus. Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience.
