Agile Delivery Lead/Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Delivery Lead to champion the development and implementation of a critical Data & Analytics Platform for our R&D function. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of developers, data engineers, and analysts using agile methodologies to deliver the Data & Analytics solution in a series of iterative sprints.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the R&D Data Store and Cloud Framework project from conception to completion, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and delivers value throughout the development lifecycle.
• Champion agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to promote continuous iteration, collaboration, and delivery of high-quality features.
• Support breakdown of project requirements into user stories and develop clear product backlogs that prioritize functionalities.
• Facilitate effective sprint planning sessions, defining goals, and allocating tasks to team members.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings to keep the team aligned on progress, identify roadblocks, and ensure clear communication.
• Manage project scope and timelines, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, reporting to stakeholders and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, motivating and empowering team members.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure clear communication, and manage expectations.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in project management, preferably within an agile environment.
• Experience in the R&D domain or a related scientific field.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture and design, preferably with AWS.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects using agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of agile principles and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience in breaking down project requirements into user stories and managing product backlogs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams across multiple time zones in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing project scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Experience in managing project risks and dependencies.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles (a plus).

Bonus Points:
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Databricks).
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Databricks, Spark, python).
• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP).
